Description
Bo and Steve Kline opened the original Typhoon Thai restaurant in northwest Portland in 1995 which expanded to parts of Oregon and Washington, including Beaverton, Bend, Gresham, and Redmond. After accusations of poor labor operations in 2010 toward management they were cleared of all charges. Other accounts of being delinquent on their taxes and discrimination. One of the locations was seized by the landlord in February 2011 for non-payment of rent. The following month, some of their vendors stated events of nonpayment of bills owed. In early 2014, after the restaurant had closed, an executive was accused of absconding funds from the company.

Cruising through many states of America, remnants of eateries of the past can still be found. Travel back to a stage in time with me to rekindle the memories of food franchises and the lost cuisine of bygone days. We can remember the presence of these dining experiences in their heyday long ago, but still etched in moments and recollections.
