Description
What originally began as Burger Queen in 1956 in Winter Haven, Florida would eventually transition into a fast food chain rebranded Druther's. with the original owners of Harold and Helen Kite and a bee mascot under the Burger Queen brand until it changed in 1981 to Druther's to emphasize the fact they offered more than most fast food at the time which were hamburgers with the additional offerings of a salad bad and fried chicken. In September 1990, Druther's International Inc. shifted to a regional manager for Dairy Queen and rebranded most of its restaurants to Dairy Queen.

Cruising through many states of America, remnants of eateries of the past can still be found. Travel back to a stage in time with me to rekindle the memories of food franchises and the lost cuisine of bygone days. We can remember the presence of these dining experiences in their heyday long ago, but still etched in moments and recollections.
