Description
This tale started with an idea to earn extra income for college so, Gregory Deck with an old table began his enterprise. At first his only option for food was offering hot dogs from his table and when customers began to increase the introduction of a vehicle for distribution was added with the home delivery pf not just hot dogs, but hamburgers and waffle batter to the Buffalo area. With rapid expansion now underway this legacy grew until there were 37 Deco locations when the family sold the business to SportService in 1961 with the last Deco Restaurant closed in 1979.

Cruising through many states of America, remnants of eateries of the past can still be found. Travel back to a stage in time with me to rekindle the memories of food franchises and the lost cuisine of bygone days. We can remember the presence of these dining experiences in their heyday long ago, but still etched in moments and recollections.
