This group of restaurants was predominately situated in the southern part of Virginia and in locations near interstate routes. Serving a buffet style and salad bar fare with the first one of the chains made available by Roger Smith in Roanoke, Virginia in 1981. As with other businesses due to the Covid pandemic the restaurants failed to maintain enough income to remain afloat and in October of 2020 all locations closed permanently.
