Cruising through many states of America, remnants of eateries of the past can still be found. We can remember the presence of these dining experiences in their heyday long ago, but still etched in moments and recollections.

    Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse

    Date Established
    Location
    1992
    East Providence, Rhode Island

    Description
The primary restaurant was open to customers in October 1992 in Warwick, Rhode Island until the mid-2010s, being associated with animatronics centered around the wildlife of Canada. Among those were bulls, buffaloes, or moose trophy head mounts programmed to welcome guests. The menu selections were not just steakhouse fare, but burgers, salads, desserts, appetizers, limited breakfast items, seafood, sandwiches, and pasta. The business filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2010, and many of its restaurants closed during that time at the time had 12 restaurants still in operation after shutting down 18 restaurants the week before. After the bankruptcy, the chain chose a different path without the talking animals, and on June 29, 2016, the entire chain dissolved the company in entirety.
