    Brigham's Ice Cream

    Description
    Edward L. Brigham opened a shop with just selections of ice cream and candy that were made on the premises. At first, the ice cream was sold for five cents and sundaes for 20 cents and became so successful that the local police were summoned for crowd control on the weekends. During the 1930s and 1940s, it evolved into a more profitable enterprise and 20 new stores opened until 2008 when it separated into two separate entities and did not survive long after that and a year later file for bankruptcy.
