Description
It gained notoriety during the late 1970s, with more than 800 stores but, as of June 2021, there is only one stand-alone Arthur Treacher's location remaining loacted at Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. The chain is named for Arthur Treacher, an English character actor for his performances as a butler and as the announcer and sidekick on the The Merv Griffin Show.
